a-   lesson aims:

-         to practise a lexical set of colour items(e.g. white, red etc)

-         to practise language used for asking question (e.g.what colour is it?)

-         to practise a dialogue to develop genuine communication

-         to develop speaking skills to describe something.

 

b-   assumotions

1.     students will understand colour vocabulary

2.     students will be willing to speak in pairs or in groups

 

c-  personal aims:

1.     to develop good habits of loving our life.

2.     to encourage genuine communication &personalization

 

brief class profile

this is a group of 50 primary students. they are approximately 9-10 years old. they have learned english for half a years. they know quite a lot of english words already. but they don’t use this language enough.pronunciation is also an area for more practice. they need to develop their confidence in speaking using the language they already know. in this lesson the dialogue practice activity will help them to speak better in a realisic context.(77 words_)
